Oh, the legs are tired

After a long week on the bike and getting mixed up with some impromptu hillclimb competitions my legs are tired. Tomorrow is a one-hour easy ride and bike maintenance day. My bike sounds like it is ready to just fall apart. Hmmm? I think the rough roads down here are catching up to it.
I only have a couple more weeks here before driving back up into Colorado and then going back to Minnesota for a bit. This weekend is Mt. Humboldt, next week is an Arizona State Mountain Bike race (I guess I better ride my mountain bike a bit next week) and then up to the NORBA Nationals in Phoenix. I am not sure if I am rwacing everything there or just the 81 mile marathon race. We'll see. I would have loved to do Pomona but logistics will not allow it. I have opportunities to go to Redlands and I need to make a decision by the end of this weekend. The big issue now is $$$$.
Next week we have to attack the apartment too and get that place cleaned up for the move out. It really shouldn't take more than an hour or two.
Well, this is a short update. I have to do some homework and get some dinner. Peath out!
From Tucson, Land of, when the DOT is doing "Shoulder Work" they are probably just adding more trash to it. If you like to research stupid issues in government check out this gun bill in Arizona that would allow anyone to carry a firearm into a public school regardless of the possesion of a concealed weapons permit or not. Fucking Republicans and the N.R.A. Why do we need a bill like that? Anyone who voted for that should be shot. Anyway, it was tossed out today because of so much public pressure. -Ian

Man, I love this picture. It is of Mike Creed last year at the Cascade Classic. Look at his arms and his face. Signs of a true struggle on a climb. If you know me you know that I am addicted to climbing. I love it when I am feeling great but love it more when I am suffering. Why? Who knows and who cares. Climbing is the absolute true test of your strength (physical and mental), and your endurance (physical and mental again). This coming Saturday I will get to test them out well at the Humboldt Mountain Road Race. Twelve percent climbs over three miles long will test anyones fitness and mental focus. Just so long as I do not flat by the time we reach the climb. Ha ha. Not going to happen. This week I am home alone. Brandon Gavic is back in Minnesota acclimatizing to the cold weather that he will get to deal with in Belgium. Hell, look at the recent Het Volk and KBK races. Damn that looked cold. Jesse is in Texas, and if they find out he is from Minnesota he may never make it back. Whatelse? Hmmm. A damn taxi seriously tried to kill me today. He made an aggressive manuveur towards me that almost became a fatal incident. I hope he enjoys explaining to his boss why he has a big ass dent in his right door from my fast pitched water bottle. Oh ya, it was full too. It has mass. %$@# bastard. I even turned around to get my bottle back. So, from the land of ever increasing violence towards cyclist (ie: The United States) and from Tucson, Land of the crazy ass purple minivan taxi with the fat guy driving. -Ian  Posted by Hello

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!! We made it to the top of Mt. Lemmon up to the small burned out town of Summerhaven. We took off today at about 10am and ended up meeting some guys on the way up who were on the same mission. Our forces joined together to conquer the famed "you can't cross the construction zone" section. This section consisted of gravel and washboards. I have to agree that it was a little sketchy and I can see why they do not want anyone coming up or down it. Anyway, after passing the sign that read, "No Bikes Beyond this Point", we continued on up and finally made it to pavement again. About 2 miles later we heard that wonderful sound of police sirens behind us. Crap, the Pima County Sheriff. He asked if we had seen the sign and all we could come up with (ie:excuse) was that we had ridden in the back of a pickup (a white one) across the construction sight. He seemed cool about that but had turned one of the other guys from the other mission around further back. We had lost one. He told us that we better find a ride through the construction on the way down. We finally hit Summerhaven which had been wiped out by a massive forest fire. It was freezing so we piled into the cafe for hot chocolate and pie. Afterwards we made the drop back down and stopped at the construction zone. If we attempted to pass and got caught this sheriff was going to stick it to us. Instantly we found a guy with a pick-up truck who let us pile in for the ride through the gravel. We had made it. Something that cyclists have been attempting for some time. It was cold up there though. 38 degrees and look at my shin/sock warmer I devised out of an old sock. Corny but it took care of my bad calf. Anyway, tomorrow is a rest day from the bike and a work day for the homework. I have to take Brandon to Phoenix which sucks because I hate that drive (No offense Brandon). I have to drive it 2 more times in the next couple of weeks. Mt. Humboldt is next weekend and I want to give that sucker a good go. Later from Tucson. Land of, Ya that is right, we had Ghetto Bird action over our apartment again tonight! Man, the Oscars suck by the way. -Ian Posted by Hello

Shoot-out and Canadiens.

Today I was finally able to get on a "Shoot-out" ride and finish. Many of you know that I have been dealing with a bastard of an ankle injury so I have been careful not to blow it all up again. The "Shoot-out" ride is a big ass ride that takes off from University Ave. in Tucson on Saturdays. Today we have easily over 100 riders and take the entire road trying to get out of town. Hey, there is no other choice. It looks like a damn "critical mass" ride but without the actual intention of one, well for the most part.
I found it to be a great ride for the training aspect. Teams like Eclipse and the studs from Health Net, Gord Fraser and Sayers kept things moving right along. Gord apparently enjoys that "big ring" alot. He seems to have little problem with it too. Anyway, we hit the Madera Canyon Road which is a great climb and I am pissed that I have been missing it for so long. It finishes up like the Mogollon at the Tour of the Gila.
Finally the temps have gotten a bit warmer here. Tomorrow Jesse Reints, Brandon Gavic, and myself are going to try to poach our way through the construction zone up by mile 15 on Mt. Lemmon. This may require a money kickback to the man in charge up there. The challenge is not riding to the top, it is being allowed access to get to the top. Mt. Lemmon has a beautiful road but I have only been up to mile 10.5. Damn that injury.
Last night I took out 2 1/2 degrees of shims from under my bad foot. The angle that my P.T put in their was seriously affecting my power in my right leg. Today I could feel the difference. What I have learned in this whole experience is this: If someone tells you that you have a strange pedal stroke (in my case a knee that carries close to the top tube in the upstroke), don't change crap. If it works for you then go with it. Most likely your muscles are toned for that motion and you are just opening a bigger can of worms by messing with it. This knee float was not the cause of my achilles injury by the way.
Enough bike stuff. So check this out. COPS, the T.V show, came to Tucson intending to film for future shows for 3 to 4 weeks. Within three days they had all the footage they needed. Wow huh? Homework has been bearing down on me hard and with the race season fast approaching, online classes get harder to participate in. Hmmm. I need a solution ie: a quick fix.
Well, from Tucson, Land of some seriously redneck freak'in drivers. -Ian

Friday, February 25, 2005

Well, today is one of those days. Very short ride and finishing some serious homework. Now, I am like this dog. Pretty much a walking passed out person. A great day to catch up on some bike maintenance (ie: new chain). I think my old chain is twice as long as when it was new. luckily, my power is still wavering so I am not stretching chains one bit. It is those of you that snap them that I worry about. I just signed up for the Humboldt Mountain Road Race. It looks to be right up my alley. Of course, riders like Drew Miller will keep the pace ummmmmmm high. Hey, three days of predicted rain and not a freak'in drop. If you are looking for a job forcasting weather come on down to Tucson. It sounds like the easiest job in the World. Later from Tucson. Land of sand abd drought yet bountiful, lush, and green golf courses? O.k then. -Ian Posted by Hello

Straight out of Boulder with a box of Dales Pale Ale comes the maverick crew snowbirding it as well. Look at our front lawn. Well, today was a 6-hour ride of about 115 miles. The achilles acted up a slight bit but I kept going. I love long rides because you get to eat like a fool afterwards. Tonight I have a serious amount of homework and all I really want to do is sleep. Still, our weathermen suck down here. Crime of the day? Seeing U.S. Border Patrol Humvees cruising through the desert. Reward? A big ass load of pot. Well, I have to get my homework done. Please remember, if you don't have anything good to say then don't say it. Later from Tucson, Land of huge ass potholes after heavy rains. See, they don't fix their roads so a pothole becomes a permanent ficture down here. -Ian Posted by Hello

Whoa, I figured out that photo. Anyway, this is at the Valley of the Sun Criterium. The guy behind me is this cool dude from Carbondale, CO/ Austin, TX named Scott. Behind him is the man we all know in Boulder as Jon Tarkington. I just have to thank Hed Wheels for making such effortless feeling wheels. The Hed Stingers I am using in this photo are incredibly fast. Well, today was a visit from Nick Martin of the Rockues Trek Team, and Abby and Ariel from Mavrick. They all know Jesse pretty well and they were in dire need of a shower. I went out and hit the group ride with Jesse today and we each took turns hitting it hard. Jesse a bit harder than I. My legs were missing for awhile. Still, the ride finishes on top of Gates Pass and I came up first with Jesse in third. We are so cool for winning the Tuesday training ride. I am surely going to get signed to The Discovery Channel Team now. No, we were just having fun stretching our legs. Would some please send me some Nature Valley bars! I am getting badgered more and more for them. I look stupid without them. Later from Tuscon. Land of the worst weathermen ever placed onto the planet. David Letterman was the best weatherman of course. -Ian  Posted by Hello

Finally some sun!

The Valley of the Sun finally fulfilled it's obligation to provide some actual sun. The final stage was a criterium in downtown Phoenix. The course was an "L" shaped speed course with pretty good road surface.
I hung out near the rear for the first half and then surged more towards the front. We had constant surges in the back straight-away which required a lot of repositioning. With about 4-laps to go we had a crash in a corner I didn't expect to see a crash in. I made it out just fine and jumped onto a group that went to the finish. I finished 21st on the stage and moved up to 20th overall in the final G.C. I am pretty happy about that with my current fitness.
Today is rest and homework. I also have to revitalize my achilles again. Oh ya, and drain my bike. There was so much water in it after Saturday's race.
I got a shot on www.cyclingnews.com . I have no idea how to link it so you just need to go to latest photos, click on Valley of the Sun, and scan down to Day Three. There you will find my name in the picture descriptions.
Well, Later from the water soaked desert of Tucson. Hopefully it washed some of the trash out of here. -Ian

Valley of the Rain

Today was day two of the Valley of the Sun errrrr.....Rain. It rained all freak'in day an dit got cold. I was soaked to the bone. Of course, the bad weather fired up my achilles again so.......here we go again.
I finished with a lead group of 27 today and have moved up from 32nd to 23rd. Not bad for having a rough past month and a half and dealing with the injury again. But, I felt good today and was pretty happy. I have to go to sleep. Ciao from the Land of RAAAAAIIIIIIINNNN. It will not stop. Damn, this is suppose to be a desert!! -Ian

Well, the Valley of the Sun started today in Phoenix with a Time Trial. It was an out and back of about 12 miles. I felt pretty good and the bike felt like a rocket. I enjoyed myself and had fun playing the gap game with my 30 second and 1-minute man. I thought a would throw a picture in of, I believe, Hincapie. I am glad he was not there. I would put a picture of me in but I have none to show. Anyway, it rained for half of the TT which was actually nice. More reports tomorrow. How did I do today? No idea. I haven't seen results. Pizza is good. Actually this is an old photo but it looks good. You have to love those reflective striped jackets for flash photography. Today, Andy and I went out short for some "openers" before we head up to Phoenix for the lung buster time trial tomorrow. I go off around 2:20pm so I have some time to make sure things are working right. The legs felt o.k today and with all the crap that has been happening lately to me I will take that. My weight is still a little up there but is coming down rapidly now, and I am still eating like a horse. I think it is just because I am back on the bike. Any and I went to the Pima Air Museum today in between my school paper writing hell. They had all sorts of old military planes such as a Blackbird and President Kennedy's old Airforce One. Even though the later was used in the 1960's it still has better living conditions in it than our apartment. Well, i have to go pack. From Tucson, Land of "weathermen who have no idea when in the hell it is going to rain because it is raining now!" 20% my ass. LAter -Ian Posted by Hello

Hey, that is Tucson in the distance. I have no idea what in the hell is in front of the camera. Speaking of which, I need to get some damn batteries for that so I can show you all the studs that are going to kick my ass this weekend at the Valley of the Sun. Hey, that is alright because I enjoy May and June, and then they can take pictures of me. Ha ha. Today was a light ride around the airforce base to check out the hundreds of deactivated jets and transport planes. There is some sort of interesting and amazed feeling about looking at all of them. Anyway, I attempted a nap but could not sleep. I kpet having dreams that seemed real so I woke up to live in them. Dreams and nightmares are bad news sometimes. Hell, Andy claims someone plugged him into a wall circuit last night and electocuted him. Of course, today he has no recollection of this. Funny. I have had the same strange ass dreams. Well, I have to get a paper written. School is building up like a big dump. I better get it out before I get sick. Oh, that is a horrible way to put it......no it isn't! Later -Ian Posted by Hello

Hey legs. Do you remember this?

I am finally confident enough to get back into the group riding format. Jesse, Andy, and I jumped into the Tuesday morning group ride. We headed out on Ajo and snuck up behind Gates Pass for a slugfest to the top. Jesse got pinned on the front and nobody would replace him. They now realize that he has some power. Finally, some Eclispe rider jumped and I took the late jump after him. After about a minute I realized that it must be February because that was about all I had for power, a minute. We finally headed to Gates when a Seasilver rider took off. I tried to close him down on Gates but I ran out of climb. Still I was happy.
I had another massage yesterday by a girl named Genie (?) at the Providence Institute. I asked for Deep tissue work in the lower legs and that is what I got. She was good because a lot of people kill you with deep tissue. She was popping all sorts of crap out of my legs. It became a running joke between us everytime she found something. There was a lot of old injury build-up to squash out.
Well, after the slugfest in the ride today I set out for four and half more hours. I hit the wall at about hour three of six so I had to make the Little Debbie stop to get my energy back. It is nice to ride long and then eat crap because the guilt trip doesn't hurt so bad. I had those chocolate chip cookie things with the white creamy crap in the middle. I had no idea I had bought the creamy filled ones because I hate them. Still, there was two chocolate chip cookies involved so that made it worth it.
Batteries died in the camera so no picture. I wanted a picture of this big ass C5A flying overhead lastnight. The thing looks like a cruise ship in the sky it is so big.
Valley of the Sun is soon and I am in o.k shape. It will still hurt but that will be good.
Well, from Tucson. The Land of "lets just plow the dirt shoulders on the roads and that will bury all the trash nicely." -Ian

Another massage!

This time it was a deep tissue massage to the lower legs. Everything was releasing and there was a lot to release. Now I need to chill out for the rest of the day.
This onlive classroom stuff is getting confusing and the due dates of stuff sneak up on you. I am now back-logged with assignments and really need to get cranking. I don't think this was such a good idea to take classes like this. I am just trying to spare some grades now. I really like how I have all this stuff due and racing is starting soon. No more bumming around town for stupid stuff wasting valuable time.
Tomorrow and Wednesday are group rides days and then it is a drive back up to Phoenix Thursday to get race numbers for the Valley of the Sun. I expect to see my lungs popping out of my mouth on Friday during the Time trial. I have done very little intensity so I am just going to ride it right above my comfort zone.
I wish I could find a quiet place to study. The apartment in rarely quiet and I miss that in my life. The T.V was the absolute worst thing that could have been brought into the apartment. It is loud and a waste of valuable "life" time. Later from Tucson. Land of the "nice to visit but I wouldn't want to live here" place.

Wow, not much new today. I went for a ride for three hours with Andy Kruse. It was a good ride because I am starting to heal up. I had some initial pain but it went away. This is a picture of Tucson coming down off of Gates Pass. Tonight has been spent changing a school paper from MLA to an APA format. I screwed up plus I have never used an APA format. So, I am learning for sure. I drank one beer tonight and I think I am slightly drunk. One downfall of being a cyclist is that every year you become a lightweight in more than one way. Roll out the barrel! -Ian Posted by Hello

Saturday, February 12, 2005

Whoa. This shit was too close for comfort. Today Andy Kruse and I were heading back into Tucson down the Old Spanish Trail when we came upon this flooded road. We sat there for awhile trying to figure out how smart it would be to cross it. A few minutes later I hear this car just hauling ass around the blind corner coming into this section of road. I look up to see this Toyota locking up it's brakes and we are just standing there right by the Road Closed sign. The driver let off on the brakes and then hit them again. This time he changed direction and slammed into the Jeep. He spun out and his airbag deployed. There was a lady in the Jeep but she was O.K. Too wild and too close to me. This all stopped twenty feet from me. Other than that the ride was great and this damn flooded spot required us to backtrack twenty miles. I felt good and as you know, that is good. -Ian Posted by Hello

It is raining again!

Yep, it is raining in good old Tucson again. Beep, beep, beep. Weather advisory in effect for the desert. It is going to rain so put the chains on your tires, stock up on groceries, get out your rain shovels, find your rain gear, and oh ya, school is out for a "rain day." People are nuts down here. Throw some water on them and you would swear that it was a scene out of the Wizard of Oz. "Oh, what a cruel world. Look at me, I'm melting, melting." What in the hell happens down here when it snows? I think they just die or something.
Of course, I am trying to get back on the bike and as soon as I start to the weather changes to rain. So, either I am actually injured or it rains a bunch. Now riding in the rain is o.k with me but one must first understand Tucson street design. See, Tucson really has no storm sewers. Instead they have these low spots on all the roads that just fill up with water. Biking through these is fine but the car drivers see you doing this and decide to power it up through the puddle themselves. You are left very well soaked and saluting them with a friendly hate gesture.
The achilles is the achilles and that is all I am going to say on that. I am going into silent mode about my injury now. However, I am fat so you can chew on that one for awhile.
Andy Kruse just got down here and bought himself a killer inflatable bed. It is just a apartment full of inflatable beds, bikes, and food. Oh, and laptops too. Sheer ingredients for boredom.
Today was the first time I have been to the Tucson Airport. Wow, there are a lot of handicap spots there. I wonder why? And hey? What is up with the mean ass handicap driver around here? They are seriously out to get me to join their ranks. Peace brothers and sisters, peace!
Lance was on Oprah today and I really don't care what you think of him but he has a life like no others. He had a lady todaywho is dealing with cancer literally just about on her knees crying to him about how much he means to her. You had to see it. Hell, Sheryl was in the behind them crying. I found it incredibly emotional and have no idea how Lance handles these moments. Does he have any idea how many different ways people look up to him? Wow man. That shit is crazy.
Anyway, hmmm, lets see. Later from Tucson, land of.........oh ya, U.S. Postal carriers who magically never have any mail for you even though all your credit card are coming due. -Ian

New laptop idea

My latest inventions that will make me millions someday is that a laptop should have a pillow attached to it. I can see it now, a Dell Pillow Laptop. "Dude, you are getting a pillow with a computer in it!" I bring this up because I am really tired and have been slowly falling into my keyboard. I have a huge paper due tomorrow and I am just getting started on it. So, if I think I am tired now wait until next week this time.
We have a light rain today and it is actually about 72 degrees out. Hey, that is my favorite number.
Go to www.eriksaunders.com again and click on his latest link about faking women. It is a funny Japanese commercial.
Well, by fromTucson, the land of "ah it is raining, someone sand the roads and chain up my car. Seriously, they can't drive in the rain down here. Later -Ian

This is just a few of the bikes laying around the apartment. It is really fun when we have another roommate who has more bikes and needs some floor space to sleep on. As you can see, we have some beautiful tile flooring, white walls throughout and bricks. Lots of bricks. This is a great photo for some Trek ass kissing huh? Posted by Hello

70 degrees and I am still broken

Wow, it warmed up today here in Tucson and I am still messed up. I still managed about 3 and a half hours on the bike but I went through some moments of pain. At this point three things can happen. 1. I ride through it, have no problems and continue towards the race season or 2. I ride through it, break myself, and have no season thus sitting on my ass and spend the summer working and hanging out on the Mississippi River. Hmmm, no too bad. Or 3. I rest it and hope that it straightens out on its own. Well, I put those in the order of my personal preference. I have to keep riding on it and all the coaches, bike fit guys, and physical therapist say the same things. I can't let it heal all tightened up.
Today has results in a dull pain in the left knee and the typical right achilles pain. Both came on shortly after the ride. During the ride I powered through the right achilles pain and it went away. Who knows? I am just dealing with it for now. If it continues like this and turns into option 2 then so be it. Shit happens and we just have to deal with it. It is completely opposite of the plans I had for myself at this time. That is the hardest thing of them all. I had big plans for this season and still do but this is a real setback to those plans.
It is suppose to rain tomorrow but that is based on a weatherman's forecast so it may not. Regardless of pain or rain I am on the bike. I just looked at the start list of the Valley of the Sun and it doesn't look good for me with my current fitness. If I am sucking your wheel next weekend please understand why. Of course, the Time Trial is all my own. Ouch.
Really, if i come out of Valley of the Sun worse off or miss a cut I think I may bail Tucson because I will just be wasting my time. I will have to pay my last month's rent and my share of the utilities but it is something I am willing to lose. Right now I just need to bring myself together and figure out what I need. My mind has been on an emotional rollercoaster since the start of this injury.
Hey, no pictures today because I am too lazy to pull them up. Plus, I have to get some homework stuff taken care off. Have you found your Smurf name yet? Go to www.eriksaunders.com and scroll down to the mention of "Smurfs." Strange. Well, from Tucson. Land of gravel roads that are actually considered paved. -Ian

Support these businesses!!

If you live in the Tucson or Phoenix areas I have to say that you need to support business that show a ligitimate care in your health and well-being.
Today I had to get my van fixed. The brakes were grinding at times and I didn't want that to lead to an untimely brake failure on some mountain pass. I took my van to Tom Mackey's which is the local GM dealer in Tucson. First class service all the way. Immediate attention as soon as you arrive, they take care of you, and there is a little restaurant/lounge for you to use with food that I would actually want to eat. They had this collection of Indy and Formula One racers helmets, gloves and spoilers. Everything had an autograph from some racing legend. Well, the replaced nearly everything in the rear brake system and it was all warrantied. Not a dime.
Next, it was off to Phoenix to the Bicycle Ranch to see Chris Pulleyn and Paraic McGlynn to get this injury resolved and the bike fit spot on. They invited a local Physical Therapist from Endurance Rehabilitation to check me out. We spent about an hour and a half going over the numbers and checking out all the faults in my body. After it was all said and done we had a plan and made the adjustments. Again, not a dime! These guys at the Bicycle Ranch have been nothing but the most professional men I have ever met in the bike industry. A true class act at the Bicycle Ranch. www.bicycleranch.com
I will be working with Nathan a couple of more times to get me caught up on some things that I could be doing for myself to help in the healing and future prevention. Check out his site at: www.endurancerehab.com
So tomorrow I will take this all back out onto the road and give it another go. I am hoping with all my might that this is it. That we (all the guys mentioned above, all my friends, my coach, and myself) have nailed this bastard once and for all. I have no idea where it came from but it came and I had to deal with it.
On that note. I am a criminal justice major and Bush is taking it to us with his tax cuts. Some of the very best programs that the criminal justice system uses are being axed. It makes no sense to me and I wish I could even begin to understand his short-sighteness on this. Oh well. I just need to ride my bike. More picture tomorrow. Later -Ian

Federal disaster clean-up

Today we finally attacked our apartment with cleaning supplies purchased at the local Dollartree. We could have saved big cash by shopping at the 99 cent store but convience won out in this case. Jesse and I got up and went to Joel's for breakfast. Good food and it helped me to break out of the same old breakfast I have every morning in the apartment.
Now the apartment is clean and we are living in a sanitary environment once again.
God, is my luck ever going to change? O.k, the achilles is back and forth with what it wants to do. It feels like it is getting ready to rock but then sometimes it gives me little hints to lay off the pedals. It kind of scares me to increase the intensity. Top that off with the horror stories I am getting about achilles injuries and well.......
Now, I am talking to my sister today and I am outside by my van. I just happen to look down at the front drivers side tire and there is a huge gash in it. Of course, I have to check this out by sticking a flat head screwdriver in it, and what do I see? The steelbelt. So, now I have to go find two new front tires to get me going again. I am suppose to drive to Phoenix to get my achilles looked at tomorrow. Oh wait, my rear passenger side brake is grinding. I have to take that to the local Pontiac dealer too. Man, I just want to ride my bike!!!!!! What is up with all these damn unavoidable issues?
We have another teammate coming down on Friday to get ready for the Valley of the Sun. Once again, the living quarters will be tight but I guess that is the wonderful world of cycling. Ciao from Tucson. The land of the heaviest used drug trafficking corridor in the United States. Viva los Drogas!!!!!

More rain and cooler temps today. Oh well. The achilles is a little strange right now but I can't expect a miracle overnight. Check out these bikes! Pretty pimp huh? It is nice to be getting some time in on the bike again but I still have to keep things in check until I am 100% healed. Later- Ian Posted by Hello

As I heal up my achilles I have to thank the wondeful makers of the above products. Toast, for cooking the hell out of my ankle and reminding me not touch my face by my eyes after applying you. It is like being pepper sprayed. Arnica (gel and tabs), I am not sure if you have that placebo affect or if you really work. I think the later is true. Tiger Balm, enough said. Aleve, I know you cause people's hearts to fail but you have my heart. Flexall, you smell really good but I still won't take a swig of you. And finally, Icepack. We have spent a lot of time together. You fix my injuries and keep my beer cold.  Posted by Hello
